Research for the Built Environment
Through research we explore and challenge how we build, why we build and ultimately what we build.
Our recurring topics are textile architecture (knit), art in public space, redevelopment, sharing of spaces, mobility and electrification.
The overall objectives revolve around aesthetic and human values, materials and sustainability. Our work is collaborative in its nature and often self-initiated.
We also engage in design innovation to develop and test concepts and potential new applications through design, experiments, and prototypes.
Together with Matilda Norberg Studio we’ve founded
Research Studio for Knit and Architecture (RSKA)
